Nicky Hatton

I am a Bradford-based consultant who works across the arts, heritage, health and education sectors. My work is inspired by community, creativity and place. I am passionate about improving access to the arts and committed to supporting organisations to work more equitably with communities on their doorsteps.

I trained as a community theatre practitioner and have over 15 years’ experience of running participatory arts projects, as well as teaching theatre and performance in universities. This experience has taught me that people learn and participate in different ways, and the importance of being flexible and responsive to what is happening in the room. These instincts inform all of my work, whether facilitating a theatre project in a community setting, co-designing an evaluation, or supporting organisations with their strategic development.
